On June 19, 2010 SendOutCards announced some sweeping changes for users and distributors. The following content is an explanation of those changes, provided by Jordan Adler:

TIPS:
First of all, I can't do this call justice without you actually SEEING the cards that the new system will create. I received a package in the mail with a stack of about 10 cards and the are astounding. I mean it.
When logging into your account, make sure you log in from www.sendoutcards.com. � If you try to log in from www.sendoutcards.com/(yourID#) you'll just get your opportunity page. � This is causing alot of confusion. Just log in from
the www.sendoutcards.com site WITHOUT your ID#.
When you go to www.socretail.com/(yourID#) make sure you are logged out- look in the upper right hand corner.
Please address the "must use your first 200 pts in first 60 days". � I'm getting a ton of complaints about this. �
OUR VALUE PROPOSITION:
The development of this plan has been underway for over a year. Many people have been in actively involved in it's development. Eagle's Nesters with many years experience and many top point earners that are relatively new to our company all had weekly input for months. If you will go down to Staples or Office Max, you will see the same program we are offering for $199 (photoshop). Hundreds of distributors have purchased it for $199 at the Office Store so that they could do 'full bleed' photos. AND Staples and Office Max don't pay us commission.
The company only benefits by us going out and building a team. $70 of the $99 is paid back out to the field with NO QUALIFICATION to receive it other than to be a Manager. In Excel, we need 20 customers to get our leadership bonuses AND each person signing up needed to get 2 customers to 'trigger' it. 100% OF THE $70 IS BEING PAID OUT without a qualification to trigger it. That is unheard of in Network Marketing. Kody is being VERY generous here. Also . . . there is not one other company in all of network marketing that doesn't charge at least $20 per month for their replicating sites. Kody could easily justify that and instead he chose not to charge monthly for our two new site. Also, not one company in the MLM profession out of hundreds give free DVD's . . . not one. Kody could easily justify $3 per DVD but he has chosen not to charge for them.
TECHNOLOGY ISSUES:
Kody just invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in server upgrades that are being installed this week. In the old system you could only upload one photo at a time. In this system you can upload as many photos as you like and they didn't anticipate hundreds of people uploading all the photos on their computers all at the same time. There were 10's of thousands of photos being uploaded simultaneously and it bogged the system down (it affected the functionality of the entire site). 90% of it is taken care of but the system will be a little 'glitchy' until the upgrade is completed. Thanks for your patience. As I said, I sent a bunch of cards on the new editor today with very few problems. Apple launched the i-phone 4G last week and started taking pre-orders. Their demand outpaced their predictions 10 fold and it crashed their sites. It's a good problem to have but it also inconvenienced quite a few people. It's all being worked out. The final product will be worth it!
TIPS FOR USING PICTUREPLUS 2.0
1. When you see what you now can do quickly and easily, you'll be blown away. Seriously. The cards are spectacular like nothing I have seen before. I built about 20 cards today. I'll address the website issues in a minute.
2. SIMPLICITY - You'll love this once you try it. IT'S DRAG AND DROP TECHNOLOGY. Follow these steps and you'll be able to use the system starting tonight
a. Log into your account from www.sendoutcards.com (NOT www.sendoutcards.com/YOURID#
b. Click on CREATE A CARD from your MAIN MENU in the middle of the page
c. You can either pick a card from the card catalog OR CLICK ON CREATE PICTUREPLUS CARD on the upper left
d. Start by clicking on TEMPLATES on the upper left and DRAG A TEMPLATE INTO THE CARD
e. Then Click on PICS on the upper left - It sometimes takes a few seconds for your photos to load. Find the ones you want to use and DRAG them into the template. There is also and UPLOAD MORE PICTURES BUTTON on the upper left
f. Anything that's highlighted with a box around it can be removed by clicking REMOVE. Click on anything you want to move or remove and you can drag it around the card.
g. When you click on TEMPLATES on the upper left there's a button to ADD BLANK TEXT. You can then text in the box that you created.
h. You can expand or make smaller the text boxes or photo boxes by grabbing one of the BLUE CORNERS of the box
i. You can layer photos and Elements by continuing to drag right into the card.
THIS IS ALL STANDARD SIMPLE EDITING TECHNOLOGY. IF YOU HAVE NEVER USED IT BEFORE THERE WILL BE A VERY SHORT LEARNING CURVE BUT I PROMISE YOU WILL LOVE IT.
Everything else is pretty intuitive. WATCH THE SYSTEM TRAINING WEBINARS AND PLAY AROUND WITH THIS. Create and send a few cards.
LEADING BY COMMITMENT:
This technology has set us up for a bunch of future things that have been in the works for over a year. You must get comfortable with this technology now and lead by example. Your team (even if you don't have one yet) will do what you do. You want to be in a position to teach every new rep you bring on the current up to date technology. I recommend getting it and starting to use it. It's the future of SOC, so I recommend getting it and getting up to speed on it right away. Just watch the tutorial under SYSTEM TRAINING and you should be good to go!

Let's talk about the 100 Cards being good for 60 days.
1. Your autoship and the points that you have in your account do not expire.
2. The points that expire within 60 days are only the points that someone
gets from this point forward on the new packages and this only applies to the initial
200 points (100 free cards)
WHY??
1. Many people 'hoard' their points and never use them and they become a 'liability'
to the company (thousands of points getting stockpiled by reps over time)
Kody has been advised by the attorneys that it's a safer position to
expire these initial points after 60 days.
2. It gives us and our new distributors a strong incentive to inform our new customers
and distributors to USE their points right away. This is a good thing because it:
a. Causes us to have to train our new users on the system right away
b. Creates some urgency in using the system while it's fresh in our new customers/distributors
mind
c. By sending out cards and gifts right away, they are more likely to get positive feedback
right away which makes it even more likely that they will continue to use the system.
I see this as a good thing for everyone.
COMPENSATION PLAN:
Most of you know that I have never trained on the compensation plan. Not because I'm not proud of
it . . . it's paying me more money than most top level CEO's in Major Corporations and it comes in
whether I go to work or not. I LOVE our compensation plan. When this plan came out on Saturday,
I about fell off my chair. Kody gave us something to talk about on Saturday. EVERYONE got a substantial raise.
First of all he offered us a product for $99 that's sold in the stores for $199. Secondly, he is paying us $70 of the $99.
Let's talk about how it's broken up. It's quite simple:
PRIOR TO SATURDAY(6/19):
When you sponsored and trained a New Distributor that purchase the Entrep Package, you received a check for $120.
AFTER SATURDAY (6/19):
When you sponsored and trained a New Distributor that purchase the Entrep Package, you received a check for $140 (a $20 increase per rep that you personally sponsor)

NOT TO MENTION, TO SEND A PHOTO CARD LIKE THE ONES WE GET TO SEND WOULD COST $5+ IN THE STORES. WE CAN SEND THEM FOR $.93. It's hard to believe.
We get all of this and more for $59. When I joined SOC back in 2004 the price was $745. They lowered the price a few months later. I didn't ask for my money back. I didn't complain. I went to work and the result was an income stream that has far exceeded anything I have ever done in my life. Jeff Packard called me Saturday afternoon and said, 'Jordan, I think this is going to start the tidal wave!' I just said . . . 'I know!!!'
